I had no idea who Edwin Keeble was when I went to the house he designed and lived in so many years ago. He was an architect. That’s pretty much all I knew.
Then we ended up in the basement somehow and my eyes fixed on something unusual, tossed casually in a cardboard box. It took just a second for me to comprehend exactly what this item was and as I stood there gazing at it, his wife said, “I think that’s the first one of those he ever made, or one of the first ones.”
Mr. Keeble, the architect of the Life and Casualty Tower in Nashville, saw the project completed in 1957.
